Anyone can submit suggestions to ‘The Peoples Playlist’ at anytime, creating fast moving and vibrant radio in which people become much more than listeners, they become valued contributors.   Heroes Project Founder, Terry Snowden said “We set out to create the worlds first ‘inclusive’ radio show and ‘The Peoples Playlist’ forms a big part of creating our radio programme. The idea is very different to playing specific requests for individuals in isolation! Instead we ask people to submit songs for everyone else’s pleasure and entertainment. This not only creates a fantastic selection of music featuring a broad range of tastes and styles, it also provides the opportunity for people to participate and influence the direction of each programme. Those contributing feel empowered and engaged in an important aspect of the ‘inclusive’ process and its great fun as well. We have had loads of positive feedback from people who love the idea of contributing to the programmes and choosing music for the pleasure of others.”   Bret from Sheffield suggested ‘Disco 2000 by Pulp’ while Joanne from Moston proposed the ‘Gene Genie’ by David Bowie.
